1. Attend a Redistricting Commission meeting and consider offering public comment

• For a complete list of upcoming meetings visit the Meetings page
• The Redistricting Commission meetings are held via video conference at Dallas City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend the meetings virtually; however, City Hall is available for those wishing to attend meetings in person following all current pandemic-related public health protocols. Video conference links are included on the meeting agenda of each meeting, listed on the Meetings page. 
• Speakers must register via email at redistricting@dallascityhall.com by 10:00 a.m. the day of the meeting. Speakers will need to provide the following information: name, residence address, daytime telephone number, agenda item or redistricting topic, and whether you will be attending virtually or in-person.
• Speakers will have three minutes to speak about items on the agenda or anything related to the redistricting process.

2. Attend a Town Hall meeting.

3. Offer feedback and suggestions by calling the redistricting hotline at (214) 671-5197 or contacting your Redistricting Commissioner

4. Submit your very own Redistricting Plan

• Create and submit a district plan for consideration by the Redistricting Commission by  using an ESRI compatible software that uses Shapefile format such as this mapping tool, ArcGIS or Multitude.
• Only those maps that have met the mapping requirements will be considered by the Commission.
• Once the map is created, residents may submit it to redistrictdallas@gmail.com.

5. Promote on Social Media and Create your very own Redistricting PSA:

Record your very own PSA in English and/or Spanish using your smartphone and share it on social media using #DallasRedistricting or #DallasRedistribución. Remember to tag @DallasCityHall on Facebook, @CityofDallas on Twitter and @dallascityhall on Instagram, and @City of Dallas on LinkedIn.
